Mckenna’s Tea Cottage

The restaurant had a charming atmosphere, with a great selection of tea options and fun hats available to wear. The owner/manager was very friendly and accommodating. However, the service was slow and it took a long time for our tea and food to arrive. The high tea did not include pastries and we had to purchase them separately, only to find that they were frozen. The sandwiches were decent, but on the smaller side. The cookie that came with the kid's high tea was not enjoyable for my 6-year-old. Overall, the experience was enjoyable for her, but I felt like I could have gotten a more extravagant high tea experience elsewhere for the same price, particularly with the pastries she was most excited about.
