Went there on a Tuesday night to meet my friends who usually have a reserved table marked "For The Karaoke Kids "I haven 't been to McKibbins in Pointe-Claire very often but this was definitely the most memorable time to go.Karaoke attracts a certain like-minded crowd and the singers tend to be quite talented. It 's a cohesive, easy to use sign-up program.You might have to wait a long time to get your turn but it moves fairly quickly and most of the singers are used to the rotation. It remains a really entertaining evening even if you don 't care for karaoke and come on a Tuesday , you can easily ignore it and have supper in a fun, easy-going atmosphere.I 'd recommend it. Been to this location before and was generally a positive experience. This time the server although she couldn't smile and look like she didn't want to be there. Her service was ok as for my meal all I can say is stay away from the fish and chips. we were a group of 12 and 4 of us had the fish. I think it was prefried and then fried again when we ordered as everyone had the same impression .It was dry and the batter was burnt dark brown. It will be awhile before I return and will never have there fish and chips again terrible experience. That said others had the stew and club sandwich and found them to be good. Sorry Macgibbons 1 star this time.
The Bushmill's Whiskey Chicken was not worth more than $2 and certainly not the $28 it is. The chicken meat was dry and tough, the tiniest of portion of both chicken and mashed potatoes, mostly was sauce which was over salt, however the topping of onion wings was good. The best part of what I ordered was the Salad Greens which was not bad and certainly a lot better than the chicken.
Me and my loved ones usually have a great time at this Pub wether lunch, dinner or for drinks it always has a nice atmosphere. I love most of the food and their desserts. Good price for bar style food. Probably only 2 things that could improve sometimes service is a little slow and their fish an chips a somewhat oily. Besides that I highly suggest it.

The soup of the day had a great taste. The buffalo bites sandwich was flavorful, but a bit dry. The burger of the day was also dry and lacked the expected blue cheese flavor. The beer and fries were both delicious.
We came for a typical Irish stew and thats exactly what we got! Food was delicious!Service was efficient! Our server helped choose our drinks according to our taste. Will be back with friends. Thanks guys!
I stopped by for lunch and tried their signature burger. The burger was good but not amazing, I really enjoyed the homemade chips. The highlight for me was the fantastic draft beer selection.
I ordered fish and chips. Everything was overcooked and dry. It seemed that everything was cooked in advance and only warmed up. We were a company of 10 people, only lamb stew was ok.

Wonderful place for drinks and food! Too bad staff in all the restos are always in a rush to pick up dishes and drinks even when not busy (5pm) or finished. Great live bands!
The drinks at this restaurant are consistently delicious and affordable. The fish tacos were surprisingly fantastic and the atmosphere is great.
