We decided to stop by on a whim and found parking fairly easily nearby, although that lot can be a bit tricky, so we put on our masks and headed inside. It was Sunday around 4 PM, and surprisingly, there was no wait, even though it was a three-day weekend! We were seated outside right away with plenty of space between us and the next table, which made us feel comfortable enough to remove our masks to eat. I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere and ambiance were great, and the food and drinks were enjoyable, although the service could use a little improvement in terms of speed. I really appreciate the Vegas-like vibe, where you can stroll around with your drinks and explore the various bars and restaurants that make up McMenamins. There's a charming whiskey bar located in a cozy cottage in the middle of the square, The Tavern on the Square offering food and drinks, and a sports bar featuring pool tables. They struggled a bit after re opening during Covid with the quality of the food. However it is getting much better. The last time I was there, I ordered 1/2 order of eggs Benedict and it was basically a plate with an English muffin and an egg, ham, and hollandaise sauce plopped on top. In the center of a big white cold plate. Quite boring, but delicious.

The atmosphere is delightful. I've visited before when it was cold, and the shed felt cozy. However, during the summer, it was quite empty. The staff is incredibly friendly, but the cocktails are quite pricey considering the quality. Serving water in plastic cups takes away from the shed's charm for me. What a festive place! The outdoor seating is perfect for social distancing and the heaters keep it warm, which is fantastic for mid-December. We're impressed with the new chef; the food is delicious and there's a fun atmosphere for everyone.

Hands down, best bar and customer service out of all the bars on McMenamin's Anderson property. My sister and I had a drink at all 4 bars and this location, we chose to finish out our evening. Ps. Sean is the best! ????

Charming microbar featuring an extensive whisky collection, with Jamie the bartender available to assist you. It's a popular spot, but the wait is worthwhile, and the patio, complete with firepits, is enchanting.

I love the food and ambience. We came for breakfast and the Eggs Benedict (aka Original Benedict) was perfection. Great coffee too!

I love the ambience here. Definitely a good plan to go during covid-19. They have outdoor fire pits.
