For a place that hold themselves out at top echelon dining they leave a lot to be desired. First the hostess was rude. We asked to love tables and was told no even though the restaurant was half empty. Luckily there was two spots open at the bar. The seating is not conducive to the view. The food lacked flavor. Jeremy at the bar was outstanding with menu knowledge. However the MUSIC was loud and over powering. Although a bit pricey, I thought it was worth it. We ordered 4 glasses of house wine, an appetizer, two entrees, and one dessert, which came to 300 in the local currency. The dessert, a strohbeere and chocolate torte, was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The scallops and steak/tenderloin entrees were well-prepared and not overly large. We especially appreciated the personalized touch of a "happy jubilee" message written in chocolate on the dessert plate, and all the employees wished us well on our special occasion. Was highly recommended the octopus and would not ever get it again. Didn’t have good flavor. Asparagus also lacked flavor. The croquettes and salmon tapas were delicious! The beef tartar was good too, surprisingly. The dates were good, but San Chez’ are better, have more flavor and interest. We liked the complimentary olives. Could have been fine with 5 tapas for 2 of us, though 6 was recommended, so that is what we ordered. Ambiance was pretty nice. Got the chocolate soufflé dessert which was very tasty but could definitely do without the cotton Candy.
We came up to watch the fireworks. We had already eaten. We had 4 small glasses of wine( house cab) and our bill came to $127.00. That seemed outrageous. We didn't question it at the time. Was that correct? That meant it was $33 a glass. I am wondering if the waitress made a mistake. We enjoyed the view and the waitress was pleasant and personable. But, the price of a house cab was unexpected and outrageously expensive. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $30–50

we had been looking forward to the mdrd and it was not disappointed! my man and I ordered 3 tapas (lamb hacks was our favorite) and two desserts (the lemon was incredible) and a few drinks (all excellent.) the waiter was very friendly, knowing and attentive. literal it wouldn't have been better off! oh and the ones would have been breathtaking.
This restaurant in West Michigan is a must-visit meeting spot that everyone should check out. The overall experience, from the personalized service to the stunning ambiance, is exceptional. The only thing that rivals the ambiance is the incredible presentation and deliciousness of the food at MDRD's.
We were out for my husband’s birthday. Had a great seat in a half circle booth for the two of us! Liked that spot bc there was good lighting over our table. Food was great, Andi, our server, was fabulous! Worth the hype we’d heard from family friends!

Every l thing was fantastic: the only exception was my husbandâs dish, the skate, was way too salty.
The tapas were delicious, and the cocktails were equally amazing.
