Me You Bar And Restaurant

We had been meaning to check out Me You and on a Sunday when we were hungry for brunch we decided it was the perfect time to visit. It was pretty crowded when we arrived. The family in front of us were sat right away, while the hostess told us (only two people) it would be 5 minutes. Not a big deal! After 10 minutes we were still not seated but we also noticed a lot of folks waiting to get their checks, waiting for their card to be returned, etc. Finally they cleaned off two tables in the back and we were seated.The layout here is filled with wasted space. I am a sucker for chicken and waffles so when I met a friend for brunch at Me You in Bethpage, Long Island, it was a no brainer order for me although I did have to confirm that they had Frank's Red Hot or Cholula. They had Cholula. My friend ordered the veggie frittata but with egg whites. When her order came, we were a bit concerned because it looked like no other frittata we had ever seen before. Instead of the veggies being incorporated into the eggs, they seemed to have been just haphazardly strewn on top. I finally got to have lunch here with my husband after an appointment, and I've been wanting to try this place since moving to Bethpage in 2020. I must say, it was absolutely delicious! I visited in September/October and had the butternut squash soup, which was incredibly tasty! The portion sizes are just right—not too big but enough to satisfy. The ambiance is cozy and charming. My husband enjoyed the Cuban sandwich while I had the burger. I would definitely love to come back and sample more items from the menu. The service was excellent, and everyone was very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant!

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME From the minute we came in, we were seated right away, Our waiter Chris was super nice and friendly and offered some great options. I had the Cubano with a twist, added bacon and lettuce and tomato, Definitely ?? Top Notch Super Fresh. The owner came over to our table as well and took some time to talk with us for a few minutes. Instagram says last table 12:45, yet they deny us at 12:37.Fair that they say no but why post a cut off time you won't honor?Slow service when they are open.Owner got mad at the broken door slamming last time too which is funny considering they have not fixed the door still.

My cousin and I were served chicken that was raw at the ends, which was absolutely unacceptable. I can't believe a restaurant would let something like that leave their kitchen. This was my first visit, and I will definitely not be returning. I am extremely disappointed.

I went there for brunch Saturday nov 4 2023.the food,atmosphere were great.but the staff were exceptional! Will definitely go there again. Jose are waiter was on top things and helped us so much! Thank you!

Amazing food , service and ambiance. Went for breakfast and couldn't tell whose meal was more delicious. The huevos rancheros were the best I've ever had. Can't wait to go back.
