We live near by Mea Mei (which means smells good, tastes good) which is in a building that has housed a Chinese restaurant for half a century and became Mea Mei twenty odd years ago. In earlier years it was more of a go to...eat in restaurant but in recent years it become more popular as 'take out and home delivery '. They feature Cantonese, Szechuan and North American Style Chinese foods along with a handful of Canadian dishes. We have tried many items over the years either on our own, when the children are visiting and occasionally when entertaining they really do cater to a broad range of tastes. Our preference is typically from their Szechuanese selection and usually once every few weeks...
This place is tasty and reasonably priced. For solo eats: B9 is excellent chicken fried rice, chicken balls, beef broccoli and a egg roll. They also have lunch specials which are smaller portions of the standard dinner combos. For mains: Sweet and sour...pork is my delicious. This is my go to for take out. The interior is divey, but not unclean, just aged. They did just get new floors, the rest of the interior could use an upgrade.
My family and friends went here one evening to give this place a try. Not one of us enjoyed our meal, some of the meat was unidentifiable as to what it was, and I have absolutely nothing good to say about this restaurant.
Love her Singapore noodles and her won tone soup is fantastic! Fast and great service! We always come back and spread the word. Really nice family! the owners are great!

Six months later and we are still happy! We stick with the Szechuan menu and ask for spicy and they accommodate! Love that the Singapore noodles and nicely
We order from here for delivery always and always find it excellent. Cod and shrimp always good and we order Spicey. Always our first choice!
I've been here for years. Always great. The atmosphere is a little dated. The food is notch. Parking is a bit a challenge at times
Never had been in the restaurant, but had delivered the food twice, last time today. Food is pretty good with timely delivery.
