A fantastic spot on the north shore. Run by a local family, the atmosphere, and service is amazing. The food is outstanding and I have never found any sandwich shop that services up the delicacies time after time like Martin does. The pork sandwich and the meatloaf are steady go-tos' and never disappoint. The new chicken sandwich with grainy mustard is out of this world. The owners are friendly, cheerful and attentive. This place has built up its own following akin to the old Cheers show. It is a great spot to go to for a meal or just to have a pint with friends. Guinness is always plentiful! If you are in lower Lonsdale, you owe it to yourself and your palate to try Meat at O'Neil's! BM

Lovely little hole in the wall pub that does amazing breakfast and meat sandwiches. Server who's there is very friendly and it's the type of place that regulars frequent. Can't speak to the pub side, but the sandwiches are more than reasonably priced and super delicious, great for a quick snack!Kid-friendliness: It's a bar.Parking: Very difficult to find parking in the area. Some small paid street parking and lots nearby.Wheelchair accessibility: It's ground floor, but might be a little tricky navigating the entrance since it's an old building (narrow door, can't remember if there's a small ledge for the door or not)

I ordered the bacon egg tomato sausage and cheese breakfast sandwich yesterday. There was a little bit of a wait, as there were multiple delivery orders right before me, but it was worth every second of wait time!The bun was good and fresh, and all of the components inside were also fresh, tasty, and were in generous quantity, and I felt as though I got a very nice sandwich for a decent price, especially with today's pricing.It seems like a very nice mom and pop shop, which is my favorite type of business to support!Highly recommend if you're looking for a good, filling sandwich for a decent price!

A locals English pub feel from this place. Where the owner new people by name.I got pork loin sandwich which is a strong contender for best sandwich in the city and I don't even think its their most popular dish.Looks like they a good list of beers to choose from too. I’d been eyeing this place for a couple of months since I moved into the neighbourhood, finally went last week, and immediately regretted not going sooner. The food is superb and the place is very cozy. Will definitely be going again. Highly recommended!

A nice little neighborhood sandwich shop. The food was great and reasonable prices. Fresh buns and great taste. The chicken sandwich was so tasty. The owners are very friendly too. All around great place.

Found this place on a casual walk, a true neighborhood gem. Sandwiches are great. Have tried all of them. People are warm and welcoming. The Pork Sandwich is a must try!
