I will start with the positives. The restaurant has a trendy ambiance, though the bar could use some separation from the dining area. The wait service was attentive and knowledgeable, but the manager was too much. He came to the table 4-5 times throughout the meal just to check on us. The cocktails were adequate and made to our request. The positives end there.We started with one of the appetizer specials, the seafood empanadas, they were okay. Not something I would order again, but I don’t regret trying them.For our main course, we ordered the porterhouse for two, medium rare, baked cauliflower, and mashed sweet potatoes. THEY PADDED THE CHECK!! I have photos of the CHECKS they presented, EACH time they failed to correct the over charges, each grossly wrong and double charging!! They provided a check, 3x extra meals on it, and all coincidentally the most expensive meals ordered by us were duplicated!!! I confronted them, They attempted to fix it and handed me back a check with only one double charge removed and still 2x remaining. I originally circled the double charges with pen!! Since the inception of this steakhouse, we finally got the chance to take advantage of this tremendous dining experience. Making reservations online was simple, and we were immediately greeted by the owner walking through the door. We arrived early to check out the bar ambiance and get a feel of the place with some pre-dinner cocktails, only to be greeted by friendly and skilled mixologists while listening to a talented saxophonist playing in the corner. This is our second time visiting Volino's Meat Market. To say it was not as good as the first-time visit, is an understatement. Our first visit the steak was aged and well-seasoned which is the reason we returned for a second time, the service was amazing, and the restaurant was fully staffed. In this second visit although the waiter was very pleasant, the restaurant was understaffed. He did suggest very delicious appetizers. We had the Octopus which was outstanding and the chicharones were very good. On this second visit they set up an outside tent with great oldies music which set for a very romantic mood. Went last week for Sunday brunch to celebrate my birthday with friends. What an experience?they have a separate brunch menu that was simply outstanding. Besides the food being a 10, the DJ, dancing and atmosphere was as well. Mark, the manager of the restaurant, makes everyone feel like royalty (super special). He?s just top-notch. The whole vibe makes you feel like you just dined with your family?thanks to the welcoming nature of the Volino Family. I enjoyed it so much that I came back a few days later to try the dinner menu?which was equally as outstanding as brunch (including the service). Highly recommend putting this on your dining experience list. A local gem. I am already a regular.
The place was incredible. But after drinks the so called specials tasted nothing but reheated leftovers. Might try it again and stick to the regular menu but maybe not. I ordered medium rare ended up with well done with lobster ravioli that I've had better at Olive Garden. And the place was so cold my food was cold within minutes. Definitely the worst steakhouse I've been to by far. After the waiter told me they swith suppliers everything made sense cause even the failed attempt of a lava cake was bad. Price didn't reflect taste sadly.
Extremely expensive steak $70) that was over cooked and tasteless. It was bizarre—the meat had no flavor! Sides were expensive and similarly tasteless. The cocktails were medicinal. I'm grateful the waiter offered to take them off of the bill when he saw we were not drinking them. Service was very good. Perhaps this was an “off night,” but at this price point we left extremely disappointed. The least expensive wine on the menu is a Malbec at $54.
For what they charge, I would have expected better. The beet salad special was very good as was the wedge salad. Both generous in size and flavor. The filet was good, not great. It was cooked to the right temperature, if not slightly passed. It was very tender, but seemed to be lacking that great steak flavor. Service was slightly off, but not bad enough to cause any more than a slight mention.

It's not a steak house. It's a restaurant. No steakhouse amenities. You served yourself the steak. For the price we paid the beef wasn't worth it. Very disappointed. High priced meals not worth it.
