Made an online booking however it didn't appear on their system, luckily for us it was pretty empty when we arrived. Beers on tap are limited which was a bit disappointing but we made do. We ordered their smoked meat platter for 2 between the 3 of us with a few sides as substitute, I'm not sure what the seafood platters were doing in an American BBQ restaurant however.<br/ <br/ Brisket was undeniably soft and juicy but the absence of smokiness was apparent, in fact it was like that on most meats. For around $60 The Dear Luncher and The Kraut Luncher were served up an array of ribs. The main beasts were represented – lamb, pork and beef. The pork ribs were dry-rubbed and they while they were indeed dry on the outside they were creating moisture in the undergarments of one Dear Luncher due to succulent vibes they were exhibiting taste-wise. Pretty simple feedback to give about this restaurant. It’s got a cool modern/warehouse kinda vibe, the service is swift casual. No frills food but the quality is certainly there. I’ve been to quite a few smoked BBQ meat restaurants and this was my favourite no fuss, but real flavours right in front of you! The 24 hour smoked beef brisket was to die for!! Great food and staff. Inviting atmosphere with dim lights and industrial barn-like atmosphere. Ordered the Meatworksco Smoked Meat Platter for two of us. Comes with 20 Hour Smoked Hand Torn Pork Shoulder, 24 Hour Smoked Sliced Beef Brisket, 8 Hours Smoked DRY Rub Pork Ribs, Roasted Lamb Rosemary Sausage, Roasted Classic Pork Sausage, Smoked Chicken Drumettes, Meatworksco BBQ Sauce, Chilli Sauce and Tomato Relish. Everything was delicious but you need to eat the chicken, sausage and brisket early before it goes dry. Sauces added a nice punch and helped with dryness. I’ve been here 4 times! The lamb ribs honestly deserve 5 stars because they are the best I’ve ever tried and served with a sauce that tastes like heaven!<br/ <br/ Sadly they aren’t cooking lamb ribs for now which we found out on our last visit. Pork ribs were good but not as good as the lamb! Price is steep but worth it for the lamb ribs honestly .<br/ <br/ Will return once lamb ribs return!
We had been wanting to try out this restaurant for a while, so we were thrilled to finally go last night for Valentine's Day! We ordered the meat platter and it was incredibly tasty. My partner loved the pulled pork, and I couldn't get enough of the ribs and brisket! We definitely plan on going back.
I haven't visited in some time, but the new menu at this restaurant is fantastic. The seafood sharing platter was delicious, especially the mussels. Our sons really enjoyed the BBQ ribs. The service was excellent and the ambience of the restaurant is upscale yet relaxed. We definitely plan to return.
Wandering past this in the late morning, we smelt the beautiful aromas of smoked meat. Had a quick chat with the chef who told us to come back for lunch. What a good decision! I had the smoked pork hot dog with chips for $13 and it was damn tasty and I’ll definitely come back! Réservez une table maintenant
