You’re trippin if you sleep on Mediterranean Cafe!! This is the best middle eastern food I have EVER had! The prices are unbeatable, the quality of ingredients are top notch, and the overall taste of the meats, sauces, veggies, sides and pita is unparalleled. The exterior and interior are a bit unassuming but do not let that stop you from coming by. The dishes are prepared super fast, often being put in front of you while you’re still paying! The falafel is moist and crispy, not dry at all! The lettuce and tomatoes are fresh. I love to also add the hot sauce and tzatziki which are crazy delicious! This should be your go to for middle eastern cuisine!
I would give this restaurant 5 stars if I could. As a fan of falafel, this is the best I have had in the Los Angeles area (and among the best in North America). The falafel plate is vegan and comes with pita, pickled turnips, hummus, tahini, lettuce, tomato, and hot peppers. I highly recommend it! The mujadara (lentils) with rice are also delicious. The service is incredibly fast.
This restaurant is a fantastic spot for lunch with great prices and unbelievably fast service. The food is awesome, with a mix of fresh salads, falafel, meats, and pickled vegetables. The only improvement could be fresher pitas, but they are still great. I will definitely be a returning customer as long as I live in Pasadena. My go-to dish is the falafel plate.
Hands down my favorite Mediterranean restaurant. My only complaint is I wish it stayed open through the night because I can't get enough of it. Food is finished and ready to go by the time you finish paying. The hummus, salad, rice, and meat are all top notch quality. Nothing else to say here.

I finally caught them open! I hate this store’s restrictive hours but once you catch them open, you should try it out! It’s on the fast-food style, classic Green-inspired gyros etc. Quality of food was great as well as their customer service and speed of service too.

Excellent quality food and very chill place Parking can be an issue as that area just sucks parking wise anyway.
