Having been back to Germany for a vacation of four weeks, we just had to return for a dinner at Mediterraneo in Mainz because my wife and I loved this restaurant and its Mediterranean Cuisine from the very start. This time we met friends there...as well, having made a date with them for dinner, and again we loved our stay at Mediterraneo very very much. Excellent meals, nice selection of wines, the wonderful atmosphere and the absolutely friendly and competent service made our dinner to be one of the culinary highlights of our stay in Mainz. Arrivé tard dans la soirée, le dimanche soir, les gars étaient très accommodants et ne pouvaient plus être serviblement. Ils étaient sympathiques et accueillants, nous avons commandé un démarreur de Bruschetta entre nous et un pain à l'ail et quatre pizza au fromage, tous étaient charmants et Le service ... Le service était sur place. Les serveurs étaient alertes et conscients du moment où nous avons besoin de plus de boissons, etc. Veuillez recommander de manger à cet endroit, surtout si vous séjournez n'importe où près du Best Western Hotel de la région Wallstrausse de Mayserz
Arrived late in the evening on a Sunday evening at 9.45pm,the guys were very accommodating and couldn't be any more helpful.They were friendly and welcoming in,we ordered a bruschetta starter between us and a garlic bread and four cheese pizza, all were lovely and the...service was spot on.The waiters were alert and aware of when we required more drinks etc.I would recommend eating at this place especially if you are staying anywhere near the Best Western Hotel in the Wallstrausse area of Mainz.
the evening dinner on Sunday night was exactly what we needed. the hired were very friendly, cheerful and helpful, although they could not have much English. they had an English menu that was 95% in line with the German one. the food was good. We were fascinated by the neighboring table ordering a pasta prepared at the table in a large cheese round with truffle puffs.
