This was the first restaurant we looked at in L’Escala. We then checked numerous others before deciding the €13.50 Menu del Dia looked interesting. We were not wrong. I have never had a cheap 3 course meal plus a glass of very nice vino tinto where so much effort had gone into presentation. The starters were superb and tasted as good as they looked.my wife’s salad with red fruits and jamon was stuffed full of strawberries and my rice with apple, tuna and hard boiled egg was delicious. Saturday night, reservation for 8 at 10 PM. Arrival in two groups. The first group 4 asked for something to drink Please, can you bring us a cava and something like olives to eat .
