Melao is a remarkable coffee shop in town that serves up delightful rolled ice cream, offers unique seating arrangements, and provides attentive service. The staff, composed mainly of friendly local teenagers and young adults, enhances the inviting atmosphere. Their pastries are fresh, and there’s an extensive selection of juices as well. The menu boasts a variety of waffles, sandwiches, and vegan options. Usually, there is ample seating available. I've sampled their iced coffees and frappes, which tend to be on the sweeter, dessert-like side. Though their coffee is decent, it doesn’t quite measure up to standout places like Blue Bottle or Abraco in NYC. Overall, Melao delivers good coffee....

Melao Cafe is one of the top places to unwind in the neighborhood. They serve amazing food, drinks, and snacks that cater to everyone. I, for one, can't resist the Goober Supreme rolled ice cream since I'm a big fan of peanut butter. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and they organize fantastic events each month, such as spoken word poetry and live performances. They also offer special treats for dogs! Be sure to check it out—you won't regret it!

If I could give this restaurant a lower rating, I definitely would. I ordered a Turkey Panini, but the bread was so soggy that the entire sandwich fell apart. Taking a bite was like eating bread soaked in water. The Custom Waffle bore no resemblance to the picture; it had a completely different shape and texture, and was served ice cold and rock hard. I can’t recommend this place unless you have a particular fondness for soggy bread.

I typically have a great experience at this restaurant, but today was disappointing. The egg on my avocado toast was almost burnt and completely flavorless. As for the panini, which I used to really enjoy, it was prepared quite differently this time. The bread was burnt, the tomato slices were too thick, and there was barely any pesto flavor or enough turkey. What went wrong? Réservez une table maintenant

The lattes at this café are outstanding! They have a fantastic selection of flavors, and the espresso quality is excellent. I was advised to pair it with a pastry, and I’m so glad I took that suggestion. This has definitely become my go-to coffee shop!
