I am very pleased to announce that the most popular delicious pies at Meldrums have been restored!!! Hoooraaaayy!! Last time I had it after the old owners left, it was terrible, filling was only half not pleasant at all Only recently a colleague of mine my daughter advised that Meldrums is back on track! They were not wrong! Hubby I had brekky there this morning, I ordered the Hot chilli, it's pretty hot so just heads up! steak cheese pie he ordered the steak mushroom pie which was absolutely delicious, fresh hot!!! The pies here are absolutely fantastic—some of the best I've had in years! The pastry is deliciously flaky, with generous pieces of top-quality beef and rich, flavorful gravy. I would give it a perfect score of 10/10 and two thumbs up—my stomach is very happy! I tried the chunky beef pie, which was amazing, and the curry beef pie, which was equally impressive. Without a doubt, these are the best pies in Cairns! They also offer a great selection of cakes.
The staff member who served us was wonderful and provided excellent service. Our salad sandwiches were very generously portioned and definitely worth the price. We also ordered some hot pastries that were delightfully flaky and delicious. We will definitely be coming back!
Meldrums offers the best pies in Cairns City. I particularly enjoy their chili, curry, and pepper flavors. Today, I had the chili pie, and it was fantastic!

Nice little bakery on Grafton Street in downtown town Cairns. Coffee was good, and the Caramel Slice was scrumptious
