I saw this restaurant on a Facebook post and decided to give it a try. It was definitely worth the 45-minute wait. The restaurant is small, so I recommend ordering ahead for takeout. We tried the pineapple stuffed dish, which had thin-sliced steak that was fried to a crispy perfection. The salsa and cheese dip were also very delicious.
I tried Melecios in Lumberton for the first time, and I have to say that the dining experience was horrible. Our server never checked in on us, just dropped off the food and disappeared. The food itself was subpar and made me feel ill. I would recommend sticking to San Jose Mexican Restaurant for a better dining experience.
We were traveling through and I found this place on Google. The best Mexican food ever! Even better than my favorite spot back home. It's a small hole in the wall and those are always the best places. Highly recommended.
