The food at Mel's is fantastic—it's home-cooked flavor that reminds you of your mom's cooking. The goulash, however, could use some work. The waitstaff are very friendly, and you can't beat the prices. Plus, the soda servings are enormous!

The comfort food here is quite pricey, but it feels like a taste of home. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick. We had a wonderful time. I also had breakfast today, and it was really good!

Really solid breakfast, great little Dive tucked away off a back road in East Peoria. No complaints will visit again.
