Memphis - Réserver une table

Few days ago we came to Memphis with a friend for lunch and were very outraged by the service and the attitude towards the guests. We ordered California rolls and tartare for a starter and waited for them for 30-40 minutes. The other tables that came after us have already got the main course. I asked the waiter to check when everything will be ready, he said ' ' okay ' and brought the bill. Realizing that there was a misunderstanding, I once again asked to check when the STARTERS would be ready because tartare and California rolls cannot be cooked for so long. An einem sonnigen Maitag sind in Crans-Montana vorwiegend Golfspieler zugange, und hier im Ortskern von Crans kann man im Memphis auf der Terrasse wunderbar in der Sonne sitzen und auf die noch schneebedeckten Berge schauen.. Es gibt täglich ein wechselndes Menue für CHF 20, das bestand in unserem Fall aus Chicoréesalat mit Äpfeln, Walnüssen und Balsamico als Vorspeise, zwei Schweinsrouladen mit Tomaten und Pommes als Hauptgang sowie einer Tasse guten Kaffee zum Abschluß. Covid-Maßnahmen werden eingehalten, der Service ist ziemlich freundlich und effizient.

Quite pretty setting and neat decor is what initially motivated us to book. We were received , brought to the table, without giving the card, without saying a word. After very long minutes of waiting and several attempts to attract attention, someone finally came to give us the card and left without asking if we wanted drinks, despite our calls. Very cold and haughty service staff. Correct food, nothing more, quite simple. This is the first and surely the last visit. Obvious lack of staff.

We come often because the terraces are not bad but that's all. Servers take time to arrive. Very cold and unfriendly service staff

Excellent place for a break in the center of Crans, comfortable, friendly and attentive service.
