Looking for a light lunch for Mother's Day and chose this little place. Menu gave many choices that all sounded delicious and intriguing to try. Mum settled on the Katsu chicken burger and I went for the Bao Bao , drinks came out quickly and meal not long after. Love the freshness of the food and flavour was wonderful. Staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely be dropping in again to try more on the menu.
The Mends Street Cafe always seems to be busy when I go next door to La Patisserie. I even saw Manu Feildel in there once when the Good Food show was on at the Convention Centre. Today I went to La Patisserie for a last coffee and almond croissant before the New Year diet starts and was disappointed to find it closed. I decided to go next door to Mends Street cafe for something brekkie-ish.
One of my favorite cafe I ate here plenty of time and is always satisfied . Was there yesterday quite late just before it closed for lunch I can 't find my dish cos is no longer on menu . Nice enough for the lady boss get my ' Avocado Chicken Salad ' made it for me mmmm... it tasted so delicious . Great service Much appreciated .
Was between meetings last Friday and managed to grab a late lunch of smashed avo and a long black. Service was fast with a smile and can honestly say the best smashed avo I've had, fresh and full of flavor!! Will definitely return when I'm in the area again, thanks guys, please keep up the great work ox Réservez une table maintenant
We came here once one a Friday Lunch just before going back to Sydney sometime ago , had the Best Thai beef salad ever and my girlfriend enjoyed her Caesar style salad too . Thanks you to the Chefs and friendly staffs . Definitely recommend Mends Street Cafe to everyone .
Very poor service we (group of waited minutes before anyone acknowledged our presence and gave menus. Food was ok, but nothing spectacular. They need to work on appearance counter and the whole place looks very cluttered.
Been there a couple of times, lunch time, loved the Squid salad. Would definitely recommend, great staff and great food.
