Went here yesterday...been excellent before but not been for agesYesterday we got mediocre mains and uncooked chips very pale, some still hard (part frozen? Just barely started to get cooked) so completely different from before and not in a good way. Wont' be going here again tummy's don't like uncooked food!
I always have my fish lightly battered to order, ensuring that it is freshly cooked every time. The staff are genuinely friendly and love to chat while serving me. I always receive great service at this restaurant.
This restaurant consistently delivers excellent service and quality. The haddock is cooked to perfection, with generous portion sizes, and the mushrooms are also delicious. Dining here will not disappoint.
For my money, the chips here are better than any of the five other chip shops I've tried in Gloucester. Thick, soft and tasty. It's the one I'd recommend, from many many visits. Réservez une table maintenant
We regularly get chips and battered mushrooms from the Mermaid chippy. Lovely staff and delicious food, I highly recommend it!
