This restaurant is an absolute hidden gem! We went there to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious! We ordered the Journey for Two, which featured filet mignon, chicken, ground beef, and lamb chops, while I enjoyed the falafel plate—hands down, the best falafels I’ve ever had. We also loved the desserts! We will definitely be back and will be recommending this fantastic place to our family and friends!
We had a great birthday dinner here with a party of 11! Guests said they felt transported because of the cozy ambience and decor. Everyone enjoyed the flavors and variety of appetizers and main entrees as we ordered “The Journey” which was a course meal selected by the chef. Everything was delicious! The lamb chops were prepared perfectly! Overall, we enjoyed a wonderful meal and great service! Perfect romantic spot for a date night or fun, festive place for a larger party!
We waited an hour for our entrees which never came, except a side salad that was excellent (to put it into perspective, all I ordered was a salad eith falafel). We had to flag wait staff down for refills of water and it was obvious the chef and the wait staff were arguing. They did end up comping my glass of wine and my partner's side salad. We went across the street and enjoyed dinner and drinks in half the time it took for us to wait for nothing at Mes Amis.
This was my first time trying this little gem. Having just returned from Greece, I was craving Mediterranean cuisine, and this place was a wonderful surprise.
