Susie is a wonderful human. So kind and supportive of the fact that I had just quit smoking and only stayed for a beer because they do allow smoking at the bar. The menu looked really yummy and once I have quit smoking for a confident amount of time I will be going back to eat. Highly recommend this neighborhood spot. OH! SUSIE is also quite the skilled Quarter flip Catcher!
The bartender appeared to be troubled by my choice of words, but he only brought it up after I had placed my order. I was unclear about what I did wrong, as I'm simply an adult looking to enjoy a drink at the bar. This left me feeling confused, and I would appreciate some clarification on what happened!
The home-cooked meals are absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is fantastic, and there's a lovely jukebox to enjoy as well. The catfish is flavorful, and the green beans, hush puppies, and creamed peas are delightful too. I highly recommend this place!
The 1/3 pound burger and French fries were fantastic, and my brother said the chicken sandwich was great as well! The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. Although the space is small, it definitely attracted a lot of customers. Réservez une table maintenant
I absolutely love their homemade meals. I've tried them all and have to say the country fried steak and the liver and onions are my top two favorites. The bartenders are great. Service with a smile every time.
Fantastic little place, phenomenal fried chicken. This is the place your grandparents go to to have a drink and smoke and eat great food. I do wish they didn't allow smoking but we still go all the time.
I truly admire the owner's generosity toward the community. The bartenders are consistently attentive and friendly, and the food is always delicious.
