Right in the heart of Williamstown this little cafe has wonderful food and coffee.I had the deeo fried squid and my husband the eggs,tomato and sourdough with a long black and latte.The presentation is lovely and the service was attentive without being over the top. Very friendly staff who enquired as we were leaving as to how we enjoyed everything to which we replied no complaints at all.I would recommend a visit to this very modern and funky little cafe. There is not a huge amount of seating however there are tables outside and good airconditioning inside as it was 40 degrees ouside but very pleasant inside. The owner of the cafe is arrogant and rude. Don't try to ask a question because he will respond abruptly and crudely. The service is poor and the food is way overpriced for the quality. After ordering a coffee, it arrived without a table spoon. I politely asked for one but it didn't come, so I asked again, and although it come quickly, the coffee was cold.I gave the cafe another go a few weeks later, and there was little improvement! Give this place a miss!!
My sister recommended we go to Mez Mez .Absolutely hands down the best cappuccino we have had in Melbourne.We enjoyed food from the all day brunch menu , it was of Mediterranean influence.I would love to back for lunch the specials board looked sensational.Very friendly professional wait staff .This cafe is a feel good space to connect with friends or chill on your own.
Stayed in Williamstown for the weekend subsequent to a work function.Rather than eat breakfast in the hotel, we explored the Main Street and discovered Mez Mez, this place had a lovely vibrant atmosphere, staff were very friendly, decor inviting.My breakfast was delicious as was the fresh juice.I'm looking forward to visiting again on our next trip to Williamstown. We stopped in for a Monday brunch and found the staff very welcoming and attentive. There was a really relaxed vibe to the cafe, perfect for a Monday morning! The coffee was flavoursome and the menu reasonably priced. The avocado on toast with goats cheese & chilli was delicious. Better yet they offer gluten free bread We will be back!
We stopped in for an early breakfast - this is a busy place. We sat outside and had excellent coffees in minutes. We just went with fried eggs, bacon and toast which were really tasty, cooked the way we asked and served promptly. What else could you ask for ! Would be happy to eat here again next time we are in the area .
We all Loved it! Barista was Fantastic! Really knew what he was doing! We ordered Longs Blacks & Almond Latte's all Perfect. The Breakfast was Amazing & Beautifuly Presented with only the finest ingredients used it would seem.Thanks Guys will be back when in the area.Vegan Delights
I went there for lunch. I had poached egg on toast with Hollandaise sauce. It was good.The toast was made from sour dough bread, it was a little hard to cut,but tasted good. The Hollandaise sauce was different than I am used to, but it too was good. Réservez une table maintenant
