We went into this restaurant by accident thinking we were going next door! We had seen the previous poor reviews. The decor was fine and the waitress appeared very rapidly so we ordered the menu del dia. The waitress went indoors and immediately came back with our first course it was called paella I have had this simple type of paella many times but this was a plate of rice with a few dried out prawns lying on top. The prawns were inedible because the flesh had completely dried out after prolonged warming. As soon as we put down our cutlery the next course arrived. It was equally dessicated. I won't continue this description as there is really no point in visiting this place unless you want...
SPANISH: Se aguado el brandy lo reemplazaron. Mi esposa también intoxicación alimentaria terrible de un plato de pescado. Deberían estar avergonzados de sí mismos llamar a un restaurante y en mi opinión debe ser cerrado. ENGLISH: Got watered down brandy they replaced it. My wife got also dreadful food poisoning from a fish dish. They should be ashamed to call themselves a restaurant and in my opinion should be closed down.
We did arrive at 4pm having been turned away by several restaurants.Food was ok. Made to feel a bit unwelcome at first. Hope they welcome us in winter when there are no diners.We go to Isla a lot.
The waiter was welcoming and it was a relief to find this restaurant serving reasonably priced food for lunch. We ate from the 'Menu del Dia ' and enjoyed Paella, Sardinas and Dessert.
