This joint is SO LOCAL and small city feeling. Only the reason I draw out a star is that it is hard not to feel here if you are not regular. On Thursday staged and it was sung with a strange karaoke karaoke open mic night (it seemed only to sing friends of the bar, and they had a performance on the run.) Don't get me wrong. Service was very friendly and friendly and good. It's just the mood to go here as an outcast (which I really didn't grow up here, I was just a long time away and the whole place turned around) is a bit unpleasant. The food is consistently delicious and of high quality. The owners and staff are always warm and friendly. I love that the food is grilled right in front of the bar; it’s fascinating to watch. They also display a collection of photos of local military personnel and heroes, including my brother, who serves as a Marine. It’s always a dependable spot for great food!
I've been here for a few weeks. I'm going 25 minutes to come here. Yes, there are pubs near me, but I love the great food, cooked with care and attention, and I enjoy the service. I always feel welcome here. I am also impressed by the USMC corner with the photos of local marines, including Raritan native John Basilone. Yeah, I love this bar! Semper Fi!

Michael’s Inn is a true treasure in Raritan. The food is prepared by a chef who invests time and effort into creating rich flavors, especially in his mushroom gravy and outstanding sauce. It’s definitely worth a visit for great company, refreshing drinks, and delicious food. I hope to see you there!
Great neighborhood bar. We love these places. The bartenders were great. Had a few drinks, the plans for returning food and live entertainment.
This is a fantastic spot to enjoy live music and grab a few beers. The atmosphere is vibrant and fun. I highly recommend it!
