Michelle's Kitchen Table

We went on a Friday evening and there was live music playing, which was really lovely for the atmosphere of the restaurant. The service was amazing, fast, friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about their menu items. The herbs the use come from their garden outside and the beef comes from local farms. We got the featured appetizer: Fried green tomatoes with mozzarella and balsamic glaze, paired with a black eyed pea salsa. For dinner I got the chicken and waffles, my husband got the shrimp and grits. Then for dessert we tried all three items, the chocolate cake, pecan pie and key lime pie. The food was delicious. We were genuinely disappointed with our experience. We waited over 45 minutes for our dinner, and when it finally arrived, the meals came out one at a time. The server informed us that the two chicken dishes we ordered had burned and would take longer to prepare. In the meantime, I shared part of my burger with my husband since his meal was missing. When it eventually arrived, it was nothing special—overcooked Brussels sprouts and a plain chicken breast with Cheerwine sauce. When I spoke to the waitress about the issues, she comped the entire bill. We left a tip and decided to leave. Overall, it was a major letdown, and the owner didn't make any effort to apologize or provide an explanation....

This place is great. The pandemic rearranged their hours a bit, but it’s such a chill atmosphere (really happy to see the tablecloths go away) and the food is always really good. A wider beer selection would be welcome, but I’m otherwise always happy with everything every time we come. Réservez une table maintenant

I have yet to have their food. Unfortunately they won't update their hours on Google so there's no way of knowing when they are actually serving food. I've had 3 bad experiences so far.
