In my personal opinion, Mike's has the best pizza in Connecticut. Despite not typically enjoying buffalo chicken, I found that the buffalo chicken pizza at Mike's is exceptional. It is not overwhelming with heat or spiciness, but rather offers a milder version of the classic flavor. Whenever I am in town, I always make sure to order from here. I decided to write this review when a friend from the west asked for a recommendation for a good pizza place nearby, and Mike's immediately came to mind. Additionally, the service at Mike's is fantastic and the atmosphere at the bar is very pleasant. I recommend ordering through their website when in need of delivery.
I have been going to Mike's with my parents since I was born. Even though I am now a Florida resident, I always make sure to stop by and have pizza there whenever I am in town. In my opinion, it has the best crust in the area. Mike puts a lot of effort into making the dough and crafting the perfect crust for the pizza. I highly recommend giving it a try. If you are visiting from out of town, you will not be disappointed. Many would agree that it is one of the best pizzas they have ever had.
