I bought a chicken shawarma, one two customers there when they first opened. I was literally handed me my food within a few minutes and told I was here and the person who obviously had the same order wasn’t. The shawarma had enough salt on it for a week’s worth of shawarmas, I literally felt my blood pressure go up. I wonder if I got the salty food because I used a coupon?? Let’s just say I’m still salty about that sandwich and will likely not return anytime in the near future.
Excellent experience. Mike's catered an event for us and everyone was delighted with the quality and quantity of the food. The delivery was on time and everything tasted fresh. There was so much food that we didn't even notice that we were missing a tray of fruit. Unbeknownst to us, Mike realized the oversight and went back to the restaurant to retrieve it. We appreciated the extra miles, literally, he put into it to make sure we were happy.
Clearly frozen meat. Terrible taste. Kafta was not fully cooked, probably as a result of cooking unthawed, still frozen meat. Kafta is the easiest thing in the world to cook and difficult to get to taste bad, and somehow it was the worse I’ve ever seen and tasted. Shame on you guys. This place used to be good. Not anymore. Be warned.
Ali and his team at Mike’s are the absolute best! They come through with delicious catering every time. The prices are so reasonable and the food is always fresh and flavorful. Best Middle Eastern food in Detroit. We catered for about a 100 people and everyone absolutely loved the food and needed to know where it was from. I definitely reccomend, and will continue ordering from here.
Mikes Kabob provided a 10/10 catering experience all around. The staff was friendly, professional and our catering delivery was prompt! The food? Delicious! Will definitely be ordering from them again.
Food, staff, and politics are all immaculate. ??? The shawarma was one of the best I've had. Incredibly flavorful. My only regret is that I only got one item from the menu.
