Mikomi Sushi Monrovia

Great service, amazing food! We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and were seated within minutes. We were surprised to hear that it was still Happy Hour (to our surprise) for about another hour. This was very welcome news since it was a Saturday at 4:30pm. We ordered the Garlic Edamame, Gyoza, Spicy Tuna Roll, Firecracker Roll, and Baked Lotus Roll. Definitely intend to visit again whenever we are back in the area!

My husband and I live in San Diego but we just so happened to stumble across this place when we were near East LA. We're sushi snobs and this is some of the best we've ever had. Everything is incredibly fresh, it comes out very quickly even on busy weekends, and it's a well taken care of place! 11/10 if I could. Love is an understatement!

We ordered some raw sushi/sashimi and cooked rolls tonight. Everything was delicious. Their service is fantastic as always. Only the wait time could be long during the weekends. This is the best Japanese restaurant in terms of their atmosphere. Come try if you haven't done so. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
