I new it is going to be good from the moment I entered. Half the diners were Japanese, as are also all the sushi chefs and waitresses. Who ever complains here about the décor doesn't know that this is really what Sushi places look like in Japan (I have been there). Enjoy the unique opportunity to taste the variety of non-sushi real Japanese starter dishes. I took shredded radish sprinkled with shredded sardines and excellent steamed spinach. They don't speak much English, so I went the simple way. To start I asked for 5 different sushis to be selected by the chef - with my only restriction being of no salmon and no shrimp (just my preference). The outcome was great - particularly the fatty tuna. So I asked for a selection of 5 more, but different. Now I could see the chef was starting to think and improvise. The outcome was remarkable. Each sushi had its own added flavoring, some salty some lemony. So I was not supposed to dip it in the regular soy sauce. The aesthetic presentation was nice too (see picture). Definitely a fun dinning experience.

This restaurant was recommended to me by my friend. I like sushi and try to visit various sushi places in the area during business travel. The sushi we were served were probably the closest to the one of the best sushi you can get in Japan. In general when I travel I rarely order tuna sushi anywhere outside of Japan as Tuna quality makes a great impact on sushi, so I order salmon sushi as a safe bet, as it is usually has good quality as long as salmon is fresh. This place served some sushi sets and I decided to try. It was realy good decision, as sushi was really amazing with fatty tuna sushi was probably the best I ever tried outside of Japan. Adding this to my book to visit next time I am in Frankfurt.

+ Very good Sushi. This might be the only place in Frankfurt where you can get real Sushi from real Sushi master! BUT you should not compare to Sushi in Ginza or Kyoto :P because the ingredients you can get in Germany is not as good as in Japan...+ Tempras are fabulous. Other side dishes are also great (tho only in Japanese available)+"Prices are to high"?? No way if you can get Honmaguro at this Price, i'm happy-WCs are down stairs and "antique"

I had a quick dinner here yesterday, overpriced but a nice atmosphere in the center of Frankfurt. Good quality food but unfortunately quite expensive.

The food is really tasty and well prepared. However the restaurant is quite small and crowded. Location is ok
