I definitely underestimated this place as I drove past it daily on my way to the Ford plant, and now I really regret that. The food was incredibly juicy, and the bread was outstanding. I didn’t try the calzone, but I have to say, EVERY TABLE had at least one of those! It must be something special! I’m not exaggerating when I say that people thought they could finish one all by themselves… AT EACH TABLE! And they were HUGE! My own meal was fantastic, with the lamb being super tender and perfectly seasoned, but seeing everyone with their own calzone made me question a few life choices that day. This place right here is Sorprendente! Every time I come here it's Soldi. I mean Calzones as big as your head with more cheese than you could shake a Mouse at. What music does the cheese love? A: Mozart-ella. I'm telling you this is Louisville's #bestkeptsecret. There's even a private dinning room in the back if you want to have a business dinner or plan a global over. The restaurant features stunning murals of Italian cityscapes adorning the walls, a charming fountain in the center of the room, a video of a crackling fire playing above the bar, and soft Christmas music playing in the background. I'm already impressed before even tasting the food. The waitstaff serve the dishes with a courteous gesture, one arm behind their back and a slight bow, which is a level of service you usually find only in high-end restaurants. The food is, of course, delicious, and the breadsticks are absolutely fantastic. This is definitely a five-star experience, leaving you with a satisfied belly and a big smile on your face.
The food was incredible—hands down the best fettuccine I've ever tasted. The service was both courteous and prompt; our meals arrived quickly and our server checked on us regularly without us having to wait. The atmosphere was serene and lovely, with soft lighting and stylish decor that I truly appreciated. I will definitely return.

Got a pepperoni calzone. Service was incredible, food was amazing with large portions. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. The interior is beautiful.
