Milazzo's Covington

My first visit was last night. Sat at the bar. Long island was great. I am a watcher...i pay attention to social dynamics, etc. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood and working well together. Didn't pick up on any tensions or drama... which from my perspective, says a lot. Quite often when I'm out to eat...i pick up on interpersonal/staffing issues. The service was great. Christina herself was quite attentive and helpful. You can tell she really cares and wants her patrons to enjoy their dining experience. The bartender was very helpful and knowledgeable when explaining the dishes to me...he helped me pick out one I ended up loving. In my experience, I've always had to travel into the Atlant...

I'm sorry for the pictures of half-eaten food, but it was so delicious I couldn't help but start eating before I realize that I want to check this place... And I have to say it's amazing. Small cities usually don't have much for them, but it always seems a diamond in the rough and Milazzos is this diamond. If you want authentic Italian, this is the place to go in Covington, Porterdale, or really anywhere in a radius of 50 miles. Photos are of the filled mushrooms, a perfectly boiled rare fillet and the Dover Sole.

I was here a few weeks ago with one of my close friends and have it absolutely LOVED! Emily waited for us and was absolutely amazing. She had great food and drink recommendations. The roasted cheese ravioli was delicious. We both had the Tuscan Chicken Shrimp as our entree, which was very tasty; the mustard lemon dill sauce was unique and well paired with the other flavors. I will definitely come back. The service, the food and the entire ambience were very nice.

I was everywhere. This is one of the most beautiful restaurants I had to visit. The employees were very gracious. The food is beautifully presented, flavors are spot on! The waiting staff is very knowledgeable about the menu. I recommend it!

HIdden Gem. This restaurant is located in the Clark’s Grove Subdivision. The food is incredible, the staff is incredibly friendly, and I think this will be my new place to get a cocktail and a nice dinner.
