we just started out with a trip to Switzerland before we started the Rhine-Rad cruise. this excursion has been very appreciated by travelers we know last year. a stop at milk manufacture was a wonderful way to end the day. we were greeted in the restaurant with a refreshing glass molke (the liquid left after the milk was cured and tensed to make yogurt. have no fear of trying. next we pulled down and fit up in coat, hair cover and shoe covers to try our hand in making cheese. very informative and funny! we toured through the facility and returned to the cheese make pot to finish the process. anyone who wants to participate in this hand in experience. the cheese we have made must age, but eve...

You would expect a place that targets families as their main customers to be more child-friendly. Our son of 2 years was hit so strong than he went flying 1.5 meters(! to the side and hit a chair. He had nosebleed and a big blue...on his face. After some fuss from our side the right things were done (a pack of ice, a free ice-cream and a sorry , however much of it should have been done just naturally- like to look the child in the eyes and say sorry right away (well and actually look like you mean it . I would advise to teach the service how to serve when kids are around and how to behave with kids. They are human beings after all, just like us adults. The food is local and very good though....

we were here as a work event that showed the cheese production process and the production of cheese itself. we were greeted by a friendly lady who explained what they are doing here. then we made ourselves cheese. 80 liter milk made 16x 1/2 kilo. we had to take part in the process that touches the **** milk in old: . the female cheesemaker was very good in keeping us involved, answered all our asking and good. We hope to get the cheese in two weeks time, and I can not wait the on-site shop offers great local products. we did not eat here as we had another place, but the restaurant was very busy and the eating looked great.

Came with a group as part of a day long tour. This is an immaculate cheese and yogurt making facility. We went throught the entire process of cheese making with the cheese maker. This is a participative tour. It was fun and interesting. We appreciated seeing how cheese was made, making it ourselves and getting to take some home. There's an adorable shop with unusual culinary items and, of course, cheeses and yogurt. The culmination of the experience was a delicious fondue dinner with salad, Swiss wine, and ice cream. It was a wonderful experience. Just loved the tastes of local culture. Our guide, Jutta, was fabulous! Réservez une table maintenant

We LOVED this place! We stopped here at the end of a long day touring the Pearls of Switzerland . The cheese factory tour and cheese-making experience were oh so fun and different. Later, we enjoyed a fondue dinner and were able to purchase cheese to...bring home back to the USA (be sure your cheese is vacuum packed and in your checked luggage! . The story here is even better than the factory. It was heart warming to hear how the local dairy farmers banded together to form this co-op factory so everyone has a chance to stay in business. Very impressive!
