Went with 3 friends for a meal as we have eaten here before. I decided on the Chicken Pepper pie with Mash and Green Beans as it sounded delicious on the menu. While my 3 friends meals came out fairly quickly i had to wait...a little while for mine. I was surprised that the pie was not home made but one that had been brought in but still figured it would be as tasty as advertised. Well not much chicken in it and pastry bottom was not crisp but kind of soft, like needed more cooking. But the worst of the meal was it tasted like packet mash potato, i could not believe it, my friends could not believe it, are they serious? Been awhile since last ate here, must say I had hoped for better. The bar staff are great,friendly and the decor is modern but the whole purpose was to have a nice meal. The vegys were disappointing, beans were dry and pumpkin still hard. I...had asked for gravy but it was forgotten no big issue,I 'll just go get it. What I got given to me was 'slopped ' into a gravy dish ,spilling down the sides! It continued to drip off the dish all the way back to my table. Sorry kitchen staff but if this is the care and pride you take in your work I have concerns about the rest of my meal. Disappointed.
The menu had a good selection of typical pub/gaming fare, and the portions were almost too generous. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up in the kitchen and my tasty wild mushroom chicken risotto was missing the chicken. The staff quickly rectified the mistake and replaced it with the correct order.
My friend couldn't finish her half-lobster, steak, chips, and salad special, possibly due to filling up on the delicious garlic and crimson cheese bread starter. Overall, it was a cheap and satisfying lunch and I will definitely be back.

Absolutely fresh and mouth watering. Hubby and daughter shared the fettuccine cabonara and I had the lemon pepper calamari. Wow beautiful soft calamari I ever had. Very friendly staff and a very nice clean atmosphere doesn't feel like a pub. Toilets are spotless. Great job...guys will definitely be back and recommend to all. Easy parking and you feel like family and not a customer.
We had a fantastic dinner on Saturday. The restaurant wasn't too busy, so we were able to stay longer than the usual 1.5 hours. The chicken parma was tasty, although the salad was a bit unsatisfactory. The steak sandwich was delicious, with excellent toppings. The kids' chicken nuggets were average. We also enjoyed the cream bread, of which we had about six pieces in total.
We enjoyed our meals in the Bistro restaurant. The Monday night steak special was suburb and great value at $15. Cooked to perfection. We also took the family to the Sunday carvery. Choice of 3 meats, chicken, lamb or pork with roast veges and apple...crumble dessert. $15. Everyone enjoyed the meal. We will bring the family again on our next visit

Had a meal about a couple of weeks age here the food was terrific and the service is wonderful the staff here are wonderful and a very nice atmosphere everything we had was fresh and beautiful and we will come again.
