Millworks - Réservation de table

Our family of four, plus two friends, went for lunch there on Saturday. We were kept waiting for almost 10 minutes while they found a table. It was another 15 minutes before they took the food order and they then realised that they had not asked about drinks. Our children 's starter arrived after about 10 minutes, but then no one got their main course for another 45 minutes, and only then after we complained. Other customers who arrived after us had already completed their meal. There was no real apology only a comment that they had a large group in. They had arrived after us and left before us, and only appeared to be about a dozen in number. Several other tables were empty so it could not...

My sister booked this for my birthday upon researching somewhere she thought would be a nice spot for dinner and the waterwheel also fun. Sadly that’s where it ended. The staff all nice but the food was absolutely awful. We ordered a sharing platter, the pork was so so so fatty and the plate presentation disastrous. The food was bland and extremely greasy. I think was nearly £40 and not even the chip were edible/nice. We then ordered the desert. Most expensive one on the menu thought has to be decent right…? Wrong! £20 for a brownie, covered in whipped cream with malteasers poked in. Was quite literary a joke. £6 max and was all so so cheap tasting. We had no idea that this was a chain. Thin...

Great food and atmosphere. We enjoyed our meal very much. However we it was slightly spoilt when it came to desert. It was a busy day. There are only about six deserts on offer. I asked for the chocolate desert. I was then told I couldn’t have one because I wasn’t there with a big Christmas party. Apparently a group of three customers is not as valued by the restaurant as a large group. If you don’t want to sell it tell us it’s off the menu. Please don’t patronise by saying it’s only for one type of customer

I love the ambience of this place, and the food is very good. Waiting staff are friendly and attentive. The acoustics are great in a large, open, old building tables remain intimate. The food was delicious. My second visit over a year and I will aim to come back Réservez une table maintenant

We've been to Millworks a few times recently and it has been reliably excellent. The service is absolutely delightful and attentive; food is great; ambience is lovely. It's becoming on of our favourite places in Cambridge. We must try out the Sunday roast!

Very disappointed with the value for money compared with other partner locations the quality of food was in my opinion well below my expectations The cost was not the issue it’s value for what you pay for and to add 10% tax on top was an insult

Lovely evening meal for my husband's birthday. Delicious food, (hot plates), and pleasant service. Nice atmosphere and a Blackadder episode being broadcast in the loos! This was our second visit and we will return.

We visited this restaurant for lunch today and also a couple of times in the last year. Our experience has been consistent the food is good quality and the service is friendly and efficient. Happy to recommend. Réservez une table maintenant

Really enjoyed, I were visiting Cambridge visiting my youngest son, food great, staff great and enjoyed chatting with lady from Greece! Stuart from Addingham, Yorkshire.

A great Sunday roast I had the beef, and it was superb! Great to visit a establishment that played a part in my youth, albeit in a different guise.
