I dined here on a Thursday night during the holiday season with a business client. I had a confirmed reservation for a table for two. When we arrived, our table was not ready, the maitre'd apologized and we were offered a couple of glasses of Prosecco to wait at the bar. After an hour of that with no table being available, we accepted to dine at the bar surrounded by club music and a major birthday party, not my idea of a business dinner. The wine I wanted was not available, so the server placed four bottles in front of me, three I recognized from the wine list and considered to be unremarkable, a Chianti, a Ripasso, and an Argentinian Malbec, all priced below $80. My husband and I were looking for a place to have a nice drink in a comfortable spot when we came across Mimi La Nuit. And thank goodness we did! Our server, Joe, was incredibly welcoming and kind, and truly went above and beyond. He made us feel welcome and showed us to a prime spot outside, where you directly face Rue Saint Paul and get to people watch and take in the street's energetic vibe, but at a leisurely pace over a nice beverage. J'ai remarqué ce resto et on a spontanément décidé de l'essayer. Belle surprise. Décor super et sièges confortables pour y passer des heures agréables tout en étant cozy avec les voisins. Très approprié pour les petits/moyens appétits qui aiment déguster des petits mets goûteux et bien présentés. On a échangé avec 5 membres du personnel du resto et tous ont été agréables et très serviables. Je recommende fortement pour une belle soirée entre amis ou rencontre entre amoureux. Je ne suggère pas ce resto pour les gros appétits. Un peu dispendieux pour la quantité mais bon c'est dans le Vieux Montréal.
We had a reservation for dinner here for a bachelorette. The servers made sure we were taken care all night. One employee even went out of his way to ensure we got into our next place by getting us on the guest list. The food was to die for as well (have the Chicken Liver Mousse Crostini!). We have no complaints about our time here and would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our stay in Montreal amazing!
Small but mighty! We stumbled upon this gem and was so happy with it. Hip atmosphere, excellent service, amazing food! The fried chicken was the best I have ever had!
The restaurant was unexpectedly closed which made it very difficult to find a replacement after showing up with no prior notification it was closed.

Very fancy and cozy place. Loved the food there. They also have a bottle service after diner and during weekends
Beef tartar was excellent. Overall small portions. Don't go hungry.
