My family has been dining at Minh regularly for the last 25 years (at least!) and it reliably provides warm friendly service and great food. My favourite dishes are the pho - good deep flavours in the stock, excellent quality rare beef, fresh fresh leafy bits to add to taste; beef and betel leaves; fresh rice paper rolls; salt and pepper tofu; and Mrs Minh's creme caramel. They also do a great campfire beef (roll your own rice paper). Decor is simple, atmosphere family friendly. Its a stand out in the inner west, doing the family vietnamese thing excellently (we travel here from Newtown or Summer Hill).
My wife and I brought along two friends who were visiting Sydney. We were disappointed. I have to agree with the general downward trend noticeable in recent reviews.The meal was reasonably priced and the service good but the food was ordinary. The "bonfire" had small quantities and a limited range of food - meat, vegetables,salad - and only 2 rice papers for each person.Though advertised on the menu, the sticky rice pudding was "off" - why, because the numbers in the restaurant were small.I can't really recommend any area except perhaps for price.
Was here again after 14 years since last time, living in another country. Madam Minh has passed on since then, but the place is doing her proud! The flavours, textures, variety of the food is incredible, the service is friendly and considerate. Just wonderful! Thank you!
Having just moved to Sydney we are in the process of trying everything we can. The food was great, goat curry - meat falling off the bones and nice mild sauce. Veges in garlic and ginger were fresh and very tasty. Tofu in caramelised soy sauce was beautiful and juicy!

Loved the food at Minh the first time we visited / sadly not the same experience the second time - We ordered the same dished so not sure what happened - different chef? will definitely give it another go - but would like to have great every time!!
First Vietnamese experience for us and delighted with it. It was an early meal and light as we had a flight to catch and the food was delicious. Fresh and light just what we wanted. Staff were helpful and looked after us well.
Easy tasty dinner. Service was good. Food was tasty. Not the cheapest in the world but not too expensive. The serving size not huge but more than enough. Would definitely dine here again.
Lots of vegetables with your dish, they also always serve orange slices to cleanse your palate and leave you fresh as you depart. Good vibe. Greta Vietnamese.
