I have not visited many Mediterranean restaurants in the greater Tampa Bay area, but Mio's is definitely one of the best I have ever been to, even compared to my experiences in Turkey and Greece. I went with some friends on a weeknight for a sponsored YELP event. Each of us received a complimentary drink, appetizer, and main course. Mio's restaurant is a hidden culinary treasure! The baklava is absolutely delicious, especially when paired with the flavorful Turkish tea and coffee. The lamb dishes are outstanding, with a perfect balance of spices and tenderness. This restaurant offers a wonderful dining experience that will transport you to the heart of Turkish cuisine. This restaurant is a fantastic spot to have lunch with friends and bask in the Mediterranean vibe. The food was outstanding, particularly the chef's special beef gyro. The hummus appetizer is a must-try. The service was wonderful, making us feel incredibly welcomed. We were especially pleased to have Mehmet and Tugce as our servers. The Baklava is a must-have, unlike any we've ever tasted in other restaurants. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning soon!
Excellent Everything! Truly Authentic Mediterranean/Turkish Cuisine. Freshest of ingredients, prepared and presented that is DELICIOUS to your eyes and pallette. It's recommended to arrive early (before 5-6PM) or make reservations. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED RESTAURANT!
Fantastic service, great ambience, comfortable, clean seating. Most importantly, DELICIOUS authentic Turkish food. Overall absolutely stellar. As a lover of mediterranean food I bought almost half the freaking menu for lunch! Keep it up guys.
