Looking through the front window,we could tell the food was going to be good and authentic, by the number of Asian patrons in the cafe. We did not have a booking and the place was very busy, however the young waitress found a table for the 2 of us.The staff were very polite,efficient and friendly and went out of their way to make sure your dining experience was enjoyable. Busy and very popular Japanese restaurant which specialised in Pork. All the pork was from Victoria and processed in Adelaide. Free range so the meat was tender and flavourful. Only the female pigs were fed with wheat and barley. The pork cutlet was coated with breadcrumbs and deep fried. The meat was really tender and juicy, dipped in tonkatsu sauce and every bites was so satisfying!
They offer different sets and each sets contains small dishes,rice and miso soup. While enjoying the crunchy pork fillet, you can also enjoy the fresh sashimi or nice potato salad or eel rice or udon noodle soup...

The restaurants in the Masuya group offer truly authentic Japanese dining options. On first inspection Miso is no different, and the long queues daily speaks itself. Expectations however, were not quite met. Ordered the pork loin set and came with no katsu sauce? Pork was flavourful but nowhere near tender or juicy enough for proper tonkatsu. The miso soup and potato salad were great but it's hard for sides to justify a poor main. Very good value though and I will probably come back to try their bento and teishoku options, but I wouldn't recommend the pork katsu here.
Got something to do around world square on Friday night. Searched jap restaurant in trip advisor around and found this place with good review. When visited the place not disappointed. 3 groups of people were in front us but only waited for 10-15 mins.Foods were quick and service was well managed. Big portion and really fill me up.We discovered the lovely bento jap restaurant while we can shopping at world square. Definitely go back again.

It was really crowded by the time i got here at 6:10,m. Got the unagi bento and the calpis drink. There were many side dishes on the bento, they were alright. Was very disappointed at the soft shell crab, it was just too soggy. The unagi is a bit salty, but i didnt mind it too much. Overall, i have to say there are better japanese food in the area, and i probably wont come back.
Very nice katsu menu many choices, there was a big que so good to get there about 30 minutes before you want to be seated, the service was good and the food came very quickly no mucking around. Sashimi and tofu sides were very nice like the rest of our meal 4 sides, 2 drinks and 2 katsu dishes cost $73 very good value.

Came here for a friends birthday dinner. I had the Tonkatsu Pork Set. It was alright nothing special. There is always a line at this place so make sure to go early if you dont want to wait. They also take reservations too.

I got a takeaway Bento box with some delicious pork tokatsu. Probably the best bento box in Sydney. Good quality food and a big serving for $15
went to there last night All food looked very nice even quilty is good. I loved to visit there again soon
