I went to dinner with a friend, and everything was pleasant until we ordered the slow-cooked beef. Unfortunately, it was tough and difficult to eat. I called over a waitress to let her know and asked if it could be refunded. I understand that mistakes can happen, and she was very understanding. However, when she returned, she informed me that they couldn’t issue a refund. I requested to speak to a manager, and he told me there was “nothing wrong” with the meal. He and his staff had tried it themselves and responded in a rude and dismissive manner. This made me feel quite uncomfortable. Been coming here for several years but this is my last visit. Food has gone downhill. Had salt and pepper squid which was savagely over cooked and tasted only of the coating. Other dish was allegedly slow cooked beef cheeks. Had not been cooked for long enough as the large chunks could hardly be cut with a spoon . The gelatinous covering should not be that hard . Staff friendly it’s clean and local but will not be back .

$68 for very little . 2 Adults and 1 young child. Went home and had a meal straight after as I left the place hungry. Could have got 4 fulfilling burgers at Grilld across the other side for same price. Very average food with very few options. I got what I deserved won’t be back . always loved their food, but stayed on the run because they have reduced the vegetarian/vegan options on the menu...it is no longer worth it for me.
