I've been a regular at the Salt for a couple of years, wending my way up the freeway from the other side of the river to enjoy many lazy mornings with wonderful service, company and breakfasts by the sea. But this time, my companion and I arrived just too late for breakfast and so enjoyed a lunch. I had the slow cooked lamb with mustard mash and greens which was sumptuous and with a delicious miso vinaigrette. I followed this with, what I expected to be, a bog standard sticky date pudding. How wrong I was: the pudding was moist and mouth watering with a taste of chocolate; a dash of crème fraîche to balance the sweetness; and finished off with a medley of carrot shavings and stringy battens....
Well I found this amazing place a few months ago and been here few times since, every time I have come it's been busy with a great atmosphere!!! Service and food have been of high standards, staff very attentive and friendly!! Honestly best restaurant in and around hillarys/ Sorrento area!!! Highly recommended.
We had the Salt and Pepper Squid, Beetroot and Pear Salad and the Truffle Fries with Parmesan Cheese between two of us. The serving was very generous and the food came out quite quickly, the staff were friendly as well. Definitely going back again.

We went their for dinner while down in Perth, was the best service and food I have ever received our waitress was more then amazing would recommend this place to everyone will definitely be coming back!! Was a good change from Kalgoorlie
Yummy Breakfast last week so thought we'd try dinner absolutely faultless seafood platter 3 courses on a 2 tiered platter. The'White Salt' Shiraz very nice, cudos to the wonderful waitresses on both visits.
The food was amazing guys New menu and it was excellent We enjoyed our meal Staff are warm and welcoming No rushing around or trying to take your plates before you have finished Definately be back
Dinner Thursday night with three girlfriends. Service was terrific, food was super tasty, coffee the best I'd had in a while, and omg the sticky date pudding is to die for. Yum! Thank you.

Great food and great service. Parking is a bit wierd with BWS and the pizza joint claiming it all and threatening a tow away zone. We just parked at the Sorrento Community Centre.
Had the surf and turf special with my husband. Steak was well prepared. Lovely meal. The service was friendly and excellent. Enjoyed the experience.
