Before ordering any food, I always check the reviews. For some reason, the reviews for Mitzi's weren't very good, but I decided to give it a chance anyway. I'm glad I did! The food was much better than many other Chinese restaurants I've tried. I'm a huge fan of fried rice, and it's usually so greasy that it's hard to enjoy, but here, I took the plunge and ordered it. It was a fantastic decision! I had the shrimp with vegetables, and the veggies were incredibly fresh—you could really taste the quality. One of the better Chinese restaurants in the area. I have been trying to find one for a while that I like and can stick with and I think I finally found it. The egg drop soup was perfect. I loved the pepper steak and fried rice. It had a lot of mung sprouts in it which is my favorite. Will definitely be back again. My only complaint was that the crab Rangoon didn't have quite enough filling. Otherwise everything was delicious. And very affordable with perfect portions.
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Absolutely the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Not just cheap Chinese, but below bad Chinese food. I've had frozen microwave meals that tasted better. They're cheap for a reason, and now I'm feeling the consequences... only things that could pass as edible were the white rice and steamed broccoli but even that was sus.

This is my staple Chinese carryout place when in the area. The food is good, the prices reasonable Mitzi is about business so not much social engagement. Pics are shrimp broccoli chicken steam dumplings. If in the area, give them a try. Always best to call in order 20 minutes before.
This is some of the best Chinese food I've experienced in Metro Detroit. It's much more authentic than many other places I've tried. Plus, it offers excellent value for the price.
