We have been going to Modo Mio for 10 plus years and always had a fine meal and friendly service. On our recent experience, the host tried to seat us between two tables that did not allow for any room to really dine in comfort. We did not want to dine outside because it was rather cool and the host said we should have specified our desires on our reservation. That particular table remained unoccupied for the entire time. We asked to see the manager and he accommodated us at a satisfactory table snd was quite apologetic and agreed it was an unsatisfactory attitude on the part of the host.notwithstanding the blip on seating, the food and service was great.
Le Poulet Parmesan était bon, mais aurait pu utiliser plus de sauce. C'était une grande partie et j'en ai pris à la maison. J'ai demandé une sauce supplémentaire et ils m'ont accusé si ridiculement petit. Mon mari avait les pâtes avec la sauce de palourdes qu'il a été déçue du goût et de la quantité de palourdes. C'était notre première et dernière visite
Modo Mio is wonderful quaint Italian restaurant! I have only been there twice but now consider it my favorite Italian restaurant in the area. The food is delicious and the portions are huge! Service staff is very friendly!!! A little too loud inside but very comfortable outside and has heaters. I will definitely be returning soon!!!!!
What a wonderful experience we had at Modo Mio. Starting with smiles when we checked in, through the whole experience, the food was wonderful. The service was wonderful. The menu was wonderful.  We can’t wait to go back

Modo Mio is always outstanding. The food, service, atmosphere, and location are fantastic. The added bonus of no corkage fee on Monday-Wednesday is a great perk.
Once again, we enjoyed delicious and authentic Italian food with excellent service. We highly recommend this restaurant. Our server, Alondra, was the best!
for a very reasonable price, good Italian dining with a view of Crystal Cove can be had. get there early...!
