I was pleasantly surprised by my own confusion since the transition from the Mexican themed Lopez restaurant, to this new tapas style World fusion menu that is Mojo. The plates are smaller like an appetizer size and they suggest two to three plates per person which is great if you love variety like I do. In addition to all of the flavors that you 'll get with the variety of multiple plates, there is a variety of amazing flavors on each plate. Leaves a LOT to be desired. We stopped by for dinner. As soon as we entered we were asked if we had a reservation. The restaurant had patrons at one table inside the restaurant but Ok we understand you have a process. Then we were seated and made aware there?s ONE server for the inside and outside (where we sat and where most patrons were located). Michael (the Server) was nice enough however he paid ?special? attention to certain tables. We waited about 20 minutes for him to finally acknowledge we were there after making several rounds to the same table with 4 then 5 older women. Other workers also made rounds to ?certain? tables. Service was slow and lacking. We were so excited to try the good because everything sounded so good. Unfortunately, the food lacked flavor and execution. The calamari was soggy like in a soup, green beans were great but accompanying sauce left much to be desired. The fries must?ve been the bottom of the barrel as they were an in long as the longest. The ribs, calamari, and simmer roll and even asparagus were all sweet. Nothing savory and too sweet. Presentation was good though. Pork noodles had no flavor just greasy. Doubt we?ll be back. Overpriced, under delivered. And while we didn?t finish any dish, the server never asked if we enjoyed the meal.

I tried the oysters, which were served ice cold with two different and perfect sauces. They serve small plates, which are not too small in size. Last night, I had the Shrimp Grits which were beautifully done, and the grilled lamb chops which were very well prepared and presented.
I will definitely make a return visit to this restaurant as the Eastside needs more places like this. It's important to note that you must be vaccinated to enter, but they also have a patio area for those who prefer outdoor seating.
I wanted to try Mojo for the first time, as I have been a loyal customer of Lopez's for a long time. However, I was disappointed to learn that I would need to show proof of vaccination to enter. I am not comfortable sharing my medical information just to have dinner. This was a big disappointment.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch with a staff that was very knowledgeable. The chef even came out to the tables to check on our meals, clearly showing that he takes pride in his work.
