We decided to check out this restaurant after seeing it had a discount on the fork and it looked worth the visit. The food wasn't bad but also not amazing but there were some problems that made me understand why all the restaurants around were so crowded and this one was almost empty. 1. We asked croquetas (a classic) and the waitress explained they would send mixed flavours and asked if we had any allergies or so. We said we didn't like the ones with choco and she assured they didn't even had them. Surprise, surprise; two croquetas with black filling and something that really tasted like choco. I called her asking what taste was that and she said she was pretty sure it was cod fish... Well...
Nada recomendable. Es muy triste en una tierra como Sanlúcar pedir Chocos Fritos y que te pongan Potón Congelado. Ni que decir tiene pedir una Fondue de Queso y lo que me sirvan es una Bolsa de Mix de Queso para ensaladas calentadas al microondas con un poco de orégano por encima. Y pedir un pescado rebozado(bacalao al carbón) y que no tengan la amabilidad de quitarle las espinas. Sin duda no vuelvo más.
A pleasant place on a street near a larger plaza. We had a simple meal of jamon iberico, queso, avocado halves filled with seafood salad (generous mayonaisse, as is customary in Spain) and bottle manzanilla (pleasantly surprised it was manzanilla en rama). Kind and attentive staff. I’d go back next time in Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
Hemos repetido dos días, probando distintos platos y todos han vuelto vacíos y limpitos a la cocina Todo riquisimo. Marece la pena probaralo sin dudar
