We’ve been going to Mon Ami Gabi for It has always been a favorite until now. We went with another couple and the food was terrible. Onion soup good, country pâté average. But we all got various steak frites and all of them were horrible. Grade of meat was sub par, steak bordelaise was doused in a terrible sauce barely better than cafeteria food. And the hanger steak was rolled like a sausage. And the frites were barely better than a local burger joint. Nothing like they have been in the past. The only good thing was the raspberry shortbread dessert. Unless the quality changes we don’t be back. Which makes me sad
Usually love coming here, but this time I was disappointed that the chef assured our server that the soup would be safe for me, as I have food allergy to capsaicin. After two bites, I knew this was not the case, when I detected that, although subtle, there was indeed an ingredient containing capsaicin. Luckily, I stopped eating it and just had to deal with a minor reaction. Please remind your employees that even “a little” is too much when an allergy is involved
Our server needs to be coached on how to serve a table. The bartender, Kevin, was wonderful. He stepped in to try to assist our server and was the best thing about our experience. Overall, the meal was good. The timing was way off. The check, along with my credit card went missing for over minutes. It was concerning to say the least. Our server couldn’t be found. Thank goodness Kevin found my credit card. Not the best Lettuce Entertain You experience
Great time, service, food. We are frequent diners at Mon Ami this was one of our best dinners there. Prepared excellently, our service was awesome. It’s good for any occasion or just because

I am very disappointed; the menu has contracted and the roasted chicken I got was really par boiled. The wine selection by the glass has diiminished also. The mussels were excellent though
We love Mon Ami Gabi and will return time and time again. The most important thing is that they have a reasonable corkage policy and we can bring GREAT French wines to pair with the food
As always, the food was exquisite and the servers were attentive and personable. Steaks are always cooked to perfection. Highly recommend
The place itself is pretty nice, but the food was just okay.
We shared the Escargots for an app and this was pretty good.
