Starting point, make a reservation, this place is busy and this week was no exception. If they are full ask if they can hold a table when one comes vacant, and they will do that. They have a system that calls you in advance of the table so you can get back. We had to wait an hour. They offered the Patio - we were not interested. It is a small fenced area on the Pedestrian Bridge and not very enticing. Now it may sound like I am starting a bad review. Read on. We had relatives in from Calgary and 4 of us wanted to dine out, I chose Mon Ami Louis as my wife and I have talked about going, but this was our first time. All 4 of us LOVED it. The Hostess was funny and super pleasant. Our server Martina S was absolutely amazing and sooooo much fun, loves to talk and VERY personable. What a delight. Our food was incredible, I had the Gnocchi with mushrooms, asparagus and butternut squash and it was to die for. 2 had the lobster ravioli and 1 had the almond crusted flattened chicken. What a lovely spot for lunch. The views on the river are fantastic. We made a reservation so not to be disappointed. The menu had numerous choices and uses locally sourced produce. There is everything from delicious Curry coconut soup to Sirloin steak! Our server was very polite and professional and took the time to be attentive but not a nuisance. Well worth the trip. We will definitely return.
This is a one-of-a-kind restaurant, at least I think, in North America. This restaurant is on a pedestrian bridge that is over a river. Every table on the outside edge has a view of the river and the city. The food was average, maybe the tartes flambes are above average. I don't know.We had to eat there because of the location. A great memory!

We happened upon this gem after doing a walking tour of the French quarter and were so glad we did! We were seated by the window overlooking the water, and enjoyed delicious sweet potato soup, bison meatballs, and caramel flan crepe. Great service by the waiter and a really nice place to relax and enjoy a good light meal.
Cool location, on the bridge. Very good food, I had the lobster ravioli, my husband had the gnocchi, and my brother had the almond encrusted chicken. Dessert was great too! Prices were very reasonable! The waitress was so fun! Very good sport! We would go back again in a flash!
BAM! All round great experience! We were greeted and seated quickly! Beverages and food were promptly delivered! View over the river was awesome! We had a late lunch here and are already looking forward to our next visit! Keep being Amazing!
My husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal at Mon Ami Louis. I had the seafood crepe and he had the salmon tarte flambé. Both were great! The views are just superb along the river.
