Wow really impressed with this place. We popped in on Saturday night without a booking and even though they were super busy they got us a table the food was so tasty and there was such a great choice of different dishes on the menu. The staff were very friendly and gave us advice on some of the items we were unsure of reasonably priced for the quality and flavours and the service would definitely recommend this restaurant there was a mix of customers couples as well as families with small children we noticed that the staff seemed to know a lot of the customers which gave us the impression that they were regulars which in my mind is always a good sign. Cant wait to ho back again
I was truly impressed with this restaurant that serves delicious Nepalese cuisine. The staff made perfect recommendations for our meal. We visited on a busy Saturday night without a reservation, but they were able to accommodate us. The food was incredibly tasty, with a wide variety of dishes on the menu. The front staff were friendly and helped us with menu options we were unsure about. The prices were reasonable considering the quality and flavor of the food. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to dine with family and friends. Thank you to the staff at Monk, we will definitely be back soon.
This was our third visit to the restaurant, and we have always enjoyed their takeaways. Unfortunately, this visit was a bit disappointing. The restaurant was nearly full at 7pm, but there seemed to be a staff shortage which resulted in some inefficiencies. We had to wait a long time for our food. While the dishes we ordered (tender lamb and chicken) were well-cooked, the taste was not as exceptional as we had come to expect from this establishment. This may have been a one-time experience, and we will definitely give them another chance, but it was the least enjoyable visit so far.
Curious to try this restaurant again as we haven’t visited since before covid. The food was excellent with plenty to choose from the menu. Good atmosphere as all the tables were taken. My only complaint being that the service was so so slow. We had to wait well over 40 minutes for our main meal to be served. Same with asking for the bill another 25 minutes wait. They certainly need more staff to meet their needs. Réservez une table maintenant
We enjoyed a relaxed meal at Monk last Sunday. We were there to sample the 'Help yourself Buffet ' and were not disappointed. It was interesting to see how Nepalese food differs from other Asian restaurants we have been to. We like to try something a little different so it suited us . We will definitely be visiting again.
Family dinner with great service and value for money. Staff very attentive and were very accommodating with food allergies and even managed a last minute request for Anniversary surprise. The food was very tasty and managed to get the right level of spice for everyones choice of dish. Recommended
