After moving from Atlanta I was looking for a good Mexican Restaurant after trying several restaurant I have to say Monterrey is one of the best ones in Augusta. Everytime I visit I am always greeted with the biggest smile. The food is always fresh, delicious everyone is AMAZING! They are very clean and during this pandemic they took extra precautions to make sure everything was sanitized.
Most of the food is very good but they dont always understand what you ask for. Margaritas are great if you get them Texan (too shelf) style. Pleasant atmosphere during day and good service. At night it can be noisy from karaoke and service spotty.
My favorite Mexican restaurant, nothing compares to it in Palm Beach, FL. It is an absolute must every time I come to Martinez
