Wife and I had their Prime Ribeye that you could of cut with a plastic fork. It was to die for (so great/perfect). Waitress however did not state her name, check in with us but twice and did not even ask if we wanted any desert. Waitress needs to be educated on how to be a server. She better be glad that Monte is such a GREAT cook because we will continue to go back as we have done for years but she will NOT be waiting on us again per my request. <br/ <br/ Glad they are in Byram (where we live). <br/ <br/ This is a MUST place to eat folks, well worth the money.<br/ <br/ I will give them five stars next time if the service is better.
The restaurant strikes me as unclean and it had an odor. It is severely outdated. Reminded me of the diner furniture on “Happy Days”. I will never go back to this place. The ribeye was totally not what was described. Go elsewhere or keep your money in your pocket. Looks good on the outside, but is an absolute dump on the inside.
GREAT FOOD!. The food is some of the best i have had in a good while. It is nice to have a good restaurant in the Byram/Terry area. Service was horrible my first visit, but the second time it was much better and the young man really made sure we were taken care of!! It is a very nice weeknight date spot!
Amazing dinner! My husband and I went there for our anniversary last night. We had the stuffed mushrooms, the crab cake, the filet and the redfish. Every bite was wonderful! They make everything from scratch so it is not fast food but it is well worth the wait

Great Lunch. Have visited periodically over they years, most recently for lunch. Always get the paneed redfish that comes with angel hair pasta and grilled veggies wonderful lemon butter sauce. Oysters D'Iberville appetizers were excellent. The man can cook!
The food was absolutely amazing. First time coming here and I will definitely be back. The server a Hayly was awesome as well. Good food with good service is definitely a WIN
I am from New Orleans and now live in Jackson. This restaurant, by far, catches the best of fine Southern dining and mixes it with a Cajun/Creole flare!
We had a wonderful time a wonderful meal at monte's. Party of 30 for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner. Excellent service.AAAA

Best restaurant in Jackson! Everything is delicious and the owners, waiters, etc are amazing. You should 100% go!
