Montesacro Pinseria Enoteca

We enjoyed the food, especially the pizza but would not go back again due to the conditions of the neighborhood. Walking down the block felt unsafe and the street and sidewalk were covered with excrement. It was gross and I felt bad for the staff at Montesacro. We had been to their other restaurant in the Marina so that’s why we wanted to try this one before the theatre. We will stick to the Marina location and eat at home before the theatre. Such a sad state of Central Market Street.

We love this place. Super friendly service, small but workable outside dining area on the curb, and great great food! I can't believe how light and fluffy the Gnocchi alla Romana are...no idea how they do it but don't miss it.

Having just visited Italy, this was the closest to Roma style cuisine that we’ve experienced back in the states. The Proprietor was a true gentleman who visited our table and made our experience even better. Thank you!

The pinsa and polpo (warm tender octopus) was as tasty an experience as on our last visit. The prosciutto and melon was a refreshing appetizer and the service was excellent!

Best pre-theatre spot around! Food and service are consistently excellent, never a disappointment.
